How long is the free trial?

We offer 100 minutes of free trial for every customer. 

What is your payment model?

We operate on a "Pay as you Go" basis. You simply pre-pay for a number of minutes (such as 1,000) and there is no expiration date. We offer our services at a very competitive price (of one USD for every hundred minutes of audio), with discounts for larger orders. No gimmicks - we treat you just like how we want ourselves to be treated.

How can I pay?

You can pay using debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, PayPal or Venmo. 

I live outside US. Can I pay for Saras AI?

Yes, we accept payments from countries outside US (as long as they comply with US regulations). You can pay in your own currency which will be converted to USD by our payment providers

I don't see minutes I paid for, credited against my account. Why?

If the email account used for payment is different from the one you use in Microsoft Word, please email us (include payment details as well as the desired email id). Also, you should restart the Add-in or Word or better yet, attempt transcription to see a change in the amount of available minutes (due to your payment) .

Can I ask for a refund on my payment?

We'd be sorry to see you go but we'll refund any unused amount (minus fees from our payment provider). Please email us: hello@saras-ai.com for assistance.

Are there any paid features that I won't be able to use during my trial?

All our features are available to free as well as paid users.

Do you support any payment provider other than PayPal?

We're working to onboard Stripe as a payment provider. Please email us with details and we can take it from there.

I am interested in a monthly subscription plan. Is there one?

Is there a life-time payment option?

If you're asking to use Saras AI for an unlimited number of minutes over years, unfortunately, that's not an option at the moment. We incur charges every time the service is used. Consequently, that is not a sustainable option to keep the business running and continue to provide services to customers. 

What are your payment terms?

All Transactions are final. Prices may change at any time. If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of our services, your exclusive and sole remedy is refund of the unused balance (minus fees), as determined by Saras AI. From time to time, Saras AI may suspend or cancel payment or refuse a refund request if we find evidence of fraud, abuse, or unlawful or other manipulative behavior that entitles Saras AI to a corresponding counterclaim. 

How do you calculate number of minutes used?

For every recording that is transcribed, we determine the length of the recording (at a second granularity). For example, if  recordings are 33 seconds and 44 seconds in length respectively, usage data would show one minute (33 + 44 = 77 seconds. 77 is converted to minutes and rounded down to the nearest minute)
